NUNOUS was created by Akira Himei, president and CEO of Seishoku , a long-established dyeing company in Okayama who delivers high quality dyed fabrics internationally.
Knowing that textile and fashion industries are one of the most polluting industries, Himei san decided to create NUNOUS, a new product made by using fabric leftovers and a natural glue. NUNOUS comes in the form of blocks, NUNOUS STONE or sheets NUNOUS SKIN. I decided to use NUNOUS SKIN to create a system of wallpaper by assembling shapes with the challenge of having as few cutouts as possible and no leftovers.
NUNOUS は、高品質の染色生地を国際的に提供する岡山の老舗染色会社、正色株式会社の社長兼 CEO 姫井明によって創設されました。
繊維産業とファッション産業が最も汚染の多い産業の 1 つであることを知っていた姫井さんは、生地の残り物と天然接着剤を使用して作られた新しい製品、NUNOUS を作成することにしました。 NUNOUS は、ブロック、NUNOUS STONE、またはシート NUNOUS SKIN の形で提供されます。 私はNUNOUS SKINを使用して、できるだけ切り抜きを少なく、切り残しがないように形状を組み立てて壁紙のシステムを作成することにしました
